You log on to the Commission mobile application to perform commissioning, flow balance, and checkout operations on BACnet/IP controllers.

To log on to the Commission mobile application
  1. Download and then install the Commission mobile application to the mobile device or Windows 10 laptop from Google Play, the Apple App Store, or the Microsoft Store.

EcoStruxure Building Commission is the name of the application used in the download sources.

  2. From your mobile device or Windows 10 laptop, launch the application by logging on with your Schneider Electric extranet credentials while connected to the internet.

You can use the mobile application indefinitely without an internet connection once you have logged in. If the device is not connected to the Internet, you are unable to log out. This prevents you from accidentally logging out while unconnected to the Internet and supports secure applications where the device running the application is not allowed to connect to the Internet.

When connected to the Internet, you are required to log out and back in every 90 days to renew your user-credential access token. Seven days prior to the expiration of the 90 day period, you start receiving reminders to log out and back in again to begin a new 90 day period.

A page then displays with the name of the product, EcoStruxure Building Commission. It is followed by a prompt indicating that By using this product, you accept its Terms of Use .

  3. Click Terms of Use to view and scroll through the Terms of Use pages

  4. Export this information if you wish by clicking the button on the right side of the page.

The information is then exported elsewhere on your device

  5. Click Close to exit the Terms of Use page and then click Accept and Continue .

You will not see that Terms of Use prompt next time you log in.

The logon page displays next and includes the product name and application software version.

  6. Click Log on .

The logon process has been integrated with Schneider Electric’s identity management system.

  7. On the ensuing EcoStruxure Building Commission page, enter your email address and click Next or click the single sign-on button

to continue with your Schneider Electric Exchange account.

If you do not have a user account, click Register here to register here as a new user and create one.

Once you have authenticated your user account, the Consent Management page displays and you are prompted to Personalize Your Experience .

  8. Please opt in to allow Schneider Electric to utilize your real-world use case data to improve the mobile application in the future.

Should you opt in, you can change permission settings at any time by accessing the Consent Management page from the More menu. For more information, see Accessing and Using the More Menu .

  9. Click the button

to turn on and send analytic events based upon what you are doing in the application.

If you click to turn it off, you do not send any analytic data.

  10. Click Close to exit and bring up the familiar Connect page.

When you launch the Commission mobile application from your mobile device, you will immediately come to the Connect page. You do not need to perform the user authentication process unless you logout.

To update or delete your user profile with the Commission mobile application
  1. In the Commission mobile application flyout menu, click More .

  2. On the More page, click Profile under the user’s name.

The mobile app then launches a Web browser to open the Schneider Electric Exchange site user account profile page.

  3. Update the information in your profile, or delete your profile if you wish.

When you delete your user account, you are logged out of the application. You must then register again to use the Commission mobile application.
