Secure Upgrade
Schneider Electric provides secure upgrade through the use of signed firmware. During an upgrade, the SpaceLogic signed firmware undergoes a verification process before it is accepted and installed onto a device. The controller verifies whether the firmware is authentic and uncompromised Schneider Electric firmware.
When the verification succeeds, the controller writes it to flash to be executed on next startup. If the verification process detects any discrepancies or alterations in the firmware's integrity, the device declines the firmware upgrade.
Note:
Firmware version 6.00.02 or later must be installed before you can upgrade to version signed firmware.
