To run the EcoStruxure Building Operation software, you need to install and license the software. To keep your system maintained and up to date, you need to upgrade the software.
It is recommended that License Administrator and License Server run on the same computer as Enterprise Server or Enterprise Central that use the licenses.
You activate request files on License Activation Server to receive response files.

Device Administrator is used to manage Centralized Licensing on EcoStruxure BMS servers. Centralized Licensing is the main Licensing feature in EcoStruxure Building Operations.
You back up licenses administrated by License Administrator to be able restore them if something unexpected happens.
You can choose which certificate you want to be active.
You add the entitlement to view the License Products available for activation on EcoStruxure BMS servers.
Use the Activate Licenses Offline dialog box to activate licenses on one or many field servers that are not connected to the Internet.
