Relative path permissions for a folder structure grant a specific set of permissions to a user account group or to a user account to all the folders accessible in a predefined path and its folder structure. Relative path permissions enable a user accounts group or a user account to reuse a specific path permission.
You assign relative path permissions to grant user accounts or user account groups access to a specific path structure in the EcoStruxure Building Operation software.
You create a relative path template to facilitate the process of assigning path permissions.
You modify a relative path permission by adding or withdrawing permissions for this folder structure. The changes will be accounted in all the instance.
You use an extended trend log to store records from a trend log. An extended trend log can be connected to a trend log or connected in a series to another extended trend log. Only one extended trend log can be connected to a trend log or another extended trend log.
A log processing trend log enables calculation within or between various trend logs. With this feature, building managers can gather new information about how the building is operating, they can view historical data that is calculated against new data and in this way detect new trends, they can compare various values and calculate a new trend log displaying relativised behavior, or unify measurements made with different units. The results from these calculations can indicate anomalies that have other reasons than the naturally varying conditions, so that it becomes easier to find problems with the building.
You must convert any CRT or CER files to PEM. EcoStruxure BMS only supports PEM format.
In the EcoStruxure BMS servers, variable values are primarily stored in flash memory in order to have their values survive power fail and server shutdown. However, values that are often collected are only stored in the SDRAM memory. This is done to protect the flash memory in the automation server.
Every object in the EcoStruxure Building Operation database has a number of different properties. Properties can be of two different types: read only and read/write. Read only properties are dimmed and cannot be changed. Read/write properties can be changed.
You open diagnostics in WebStation to check the health of your system.
