You perform I/O checkout on the Multi-I/O module to verify that the devices are wired correctly and that the physical inputs and outputs are working properly.
Use this workflow to perform flow balancing on a single VAV controller, using the Commission mobile application. Related information can be found in the section after the flowchart.
Using the Commission mobile application, you flow balance a VAV unit at each designated setpoint to achieve the desired air flow.
After you have wired the physical inputs and outputs of the controller, you perform I/O checkout to verify that the wiring was done correctly and that the physical inputs and outputs are working properly.
You test the DALI relay outputs to ensure they are operating correctly.
You configure the VAV controller setpoints to set up the parameters by which the controller is flow balanced. These setpoints include the maximum flow setpoint, selected by default, and the intermediate and minimum flow setpoints, which are optional.
The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter allows you to establish a Bluetooth connection to SpaceLogic and EasyLogic controller models. To connect to a device through the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter, a SpaceLogic Sensor must be wired to the controller.
After flow balancing a VAV unit, you can use the Commission mobile application to create, append, view, or delete flow balance reports.
You can manually verify the direction of the damper rotation of a VAV controller to verify that the actuator rotates clockwise or counterclockwise to open.
Before you can do an I/O checkout on a DALI module, you must first perform a DALI discovery and associate the discovered physical output with logical outputs in the RP controller configuration. You then wink DALI outputs in order to identify the light or control device location when associating the physical output with the logical output.
