The RP-C controller is available in seven models that support both BACnet/IP and MS/TP communication. These seven models offer six different combinations (sets) of I/O point types and CPU types. Four of the models support 24 VAC/VDC input power and three of them support 230 VAC. One of the 230 V models has self-locking device connectors instead of screw terminals. The RP-C controller also comes in three models that only support BACnet MS/TP communication. These three models offer three different sets of the number of I/O points and types of I/O points and support 24 VAC/VDC input power.
There are a number of differences in hardware between different hardware versions of the RP-C-12A-F-24V, RP-C-12B-F-24V, RP-C-12C-F-24V, and RP-C-16A-F-230V controller models.

You perform the following steps to power up an RP-C-16C-F-230V controller model. The steps are slightly different from the steps for powering up other RP-C 230 V controller models.
You select an external power supply (24 VAC/VDC) or the internal transformer (24 VAC, 19 VA) to power a group of solid-state relay (SSR) outputs (DOs) on the RP-C-16C-F-230V controller by placing a jumper on the pin header for that DO group on the controller.
