You connect SpaceLogic Sensor devices to an RP controller to provide the devices with power and communication from the controller.
The RP-C sensor bus allows SpaceLogic Sensor devices to be connected to the controller.
The Schneider Electric SpaceLogic hardware devices for the EcoStruxure BMS include terminal bases, PS-24V power supplies, Central IO modules, automation servers such as AS-P servers and AS-B servers, BACnet/IP devices such as MP-C controllers, MP-V controllers, IP-IO modules, and RP-C controllers, RP controller expansion modules, remote control, KNX Modbus gateway, Bluetooth adapter, Wireless Adapter - Advanced, SpaceLogic Sensor devices, Advanced Display devices, and Operator Display devices.
SpaceLogic Sensors are a family of living space sensors designed for BACnet/IP controllers using the EcoStruxure Building Operation user interface. These sensors use an RJ-45 sensor bus that provides communication and power from the BACnet/IP controller.
The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter allows you to establish a Bluetooth connection to SpaceLogic and EasyLogic controller models. To connect to a device through the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter, a SpaceLogic Sensor must be wired to the controller.
You connect to a controller to begin all commissioning tasks. Through Bluetooth, you can connect to a single controller at a time. Bluetooth connectivity is supported for the MP and RP controllers of the BACnet/IP controller family. Bluetooth connectivity is not supported for IP-IO devices. On the MP controller you connect using the SpaceLogic BLE adapter through the controller’s sensor bus and Spacelogic Sensor. With RP controllers, you connect using the onboard BLE or the BLE adapter for the EasyLogic controller models.
The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter allows you to establish a Bluetooth connection to MP and RP controllers. You plug the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter into the corresponding SpaceLogic Sensor to connect to the controller. The adapter communicates with the BACnet/IP controller over the sensor bus using an RS-485 cable.
The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter is plugged into a SpaceLogic Sensor to provide a wireless Bluetooth connection to the BACnet/IP controller (Sensor Bus compliant controller) for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the controller and the sensor.
You connect SpaceLogic Sensor devices to an MP controller to provide the sensor devices with power and communication from the controller.
SpaceLogic Sensor devices are modular and are ordered in two parts: the sensor base and the cover. Four SpaceLogic communicating sensor base models are available as well as a variety of covers.
