MP-C Models

The MP-C controller is available in five models that support BACnet/IP communication. These five models offer five different combinations (sets) of the number of I/O points and types of I/O points. The MP-C controller also comes in two models that only support BACnet MS/TP communication.

MP-C-15A, MP-C-18A, and MP-C-18B have the same small footprint. MP-C-24A and MP-C-36A have a slightly larger footprint.

The EasyLogic MP-C models differ significantly from the SpaceLogic MP-C models not only in terms of the supported BACnet communication protocol, but also with regards to several other features.

  1. The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter (SXWBTAECXX10001) can be used to add wireless connnectivity to the controller. The adapter is connected to a SpaceLogic Sensor on the Sensor Bus.
  2. 1 USB host port and 1 USB device port.
  3. Load: max. 2 W.
  4. Isolated RS-485 Adapter (SXWISORS48510001) can be used for converting the RS-485 port with RJ45 interface to screw terminals.
  5. Non-isolated RS-485 Adapter (SXWNISORS48510001) and RS-485 Power Adapter (SXWNISORS485P10001) can be used for converting the RS-485 port with RJ45 interface to screw terminals. RS-485 Power Adapter (SXWNISORS485P10001) can also be used for power injecton on Sensor Bus.
  6. Dedicated for BACnet MS/TP bus. Removable 3-pole screw terminal block.
  7. The RS-485 port (Sensor Bus) can be reconfigured for Modbus.
  8. The KNX Modbus Gateway (RP-C-EXT-KNX) is not supported.
  9. 1 Status LED, 2 RS-485 LEDs, and 2 Ethernet LEDs.
  10. 1 Status LED and 2 RS-485 LEDs.
  11. MP-C-24A-M and MP-C-36A-M with hardware version earlier than 03/02 have a FRAM memory with a size of 8 kB. For these hardware versions, the use of Script programs is recommended to save FRAM memory space.
