Synchronizing Content Types
You synchronize content types to reuse the content types on a parent EcoStruxure BMS server.
Export content types from the child Ecostructure BMS server (such as an Enterprise Server) and import them to the parent server (like the Enterprise Central or Enterprise Server) before you synchronize them. During synchronization, all the content types are erased from the child server.
Make sure that you have exported content types from the child server and imported them to the parent server.
In WorkStation, in the System Tree pane, expand the System folder for the server that is to be synchronize with its parent.
Select Content Types .
On the Actions menu, point to Advanced and then click Synchronize with parent server .
Click Yes .
