Wireless Adapter - Advanced
Introduction
Wireless Adapter - Advanced is a USB-based wireless adapter that enables Zigbee TM wireless connectivity for your SmartX IP controller or SmartX server, extending its point count and bringing flexibility in your retrofit applications. The adapter can communicate over the Zigbee wireless protocol with up to 10 wireless devices. For more information, see section “Supported Wireless Devices”.
The adapter can be used with SmartX IP controllers such as the RP Series room controllers (RP-C) as well as SmartX AS-P servers. The adapter works seamlessly within EcoStruxure Building Management systems so that Zigbee objects become easily available to the user.
The adapter’s compact design allows it to plug in to RP-C controllers or SmartX AS-P servers in tight spaces and the optional mounting cradle, wall plate, and USB cable extension allow for the choice of wall, ceiling, or exterior of the enclosure mount to maximize the transmission and reception of signals from distributed Zigbee devices.
