Configuring SSL Communication Security Settings

You configure the SSL communication to increase the security of your system.

The SSL communication security settings can be changed to increase the security of your system. SSL is used for the communication between servers and clients.

You can configure field servers to allow only the SSL communication that you have decided to use.

To configure SSL communication security settings

  1. In the Device Administrator, click Servers .

  2. In the Server list, click the server.

  3. Click SSL Settings .

  4. In the Blocked SSL Protocol box, add the protocol you want to block.

    Déclaration

    Valid protocol names are tlsv_1, tlsv1_1, tlsv1_2 and tlsv1_3. The tlsv1_2 protocol is valid, but disabling it would prevent you from logging on to WorkStation.

  5. In the Enabled SSL Cipher box, add the cipher you want to enable.

  6. Click Apply .
