Document Signature Certificate
In EcoStruxure BMS, when you select the Write to File Notification Distribution Method and file format PDF, you can sign the notification report using a document signature certificate. . Para obtener más información, consulte Write to File Notification Distribution Method .
Document signing requires a certificate created with RSA.
You can choose to sign your notification report with a commercial CA certificate from MS Windows Certificate Store.
Document signature does not support Elliptic curve cryptography and therefore self signed certificates generated in the server cannot be used.
To use certificates from MS Windows Certificate Store, you need to ensure that the Windows Service User for the BMS EcoStruxure server has permissions to this store. Such a user account can be selected in Windows Services on your PC, or it can be done during installation and upgrade of the BMS EcoStruxure system.
