RP-V Models

The RP-V controller is available in two models that support both BACnet/IP and MS/TP communication. These two models offer two different combinations (sets) of the number of I/O points and types of I/O points. The RP-V controller also comes in a model that only supports BACnet MS/TP communication.

  1. Adapter required: Isolated RS-485 Adapter (SXWISORS48510001), Non-isolated RS-485 Adapter (SXWNISORS48510001), or RS-485 Power Adapter (SXWNISORS485P10001).

For more information, see RP-V Onboard I/O .

The RP-V controllers have the same compact design and approximately the same dimensions as the MP-V controllers and a majority of the Schneider Electric VAV controller models from Andover Continuum, TAC Vista, and TAC I/A Series product lines. You can use the RP-V controllers for both cooling and heating applications.

The EasyLogic RP-V model differs significantly from the SpaceLogic RP-V models not only in terms of the supported BACnet communication protocol(s), but also with regards to the set of communication ports and several other features.

Note:

The EasyLogic models have an “-M” in the product name.

  1. The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter (SXWBTAECXX10001) can be used to add wireless connnectivity to the controller. The adapter is connected to a SpaceLogic Sensor on the Sensor Bus.
  2. USB Host port.
  3. Load: max. 3 W per port, max. 4 W total load.
  4. Load: max. 3 W.
  5. Isolated RS-485 Adapter (SXWISORS48510001) can be used for converting the RS-485 port with RJ45 interface to screw terminals.
  6. Non-isolated RS-485 Adapter (SXWNISORS48510001) and RS-485 Power Adapter (SXWNISORS485P10001) can be used for converting the RS-485 port with RJ45 interface to screw terminals. RS-485 Power Adapter (SXWNISORS485P10001) can also be used for power injecton on Room Bus or Sensor Bus.
  7. Dedicated for BACnet MS/TP bus. Removable 3-pole screw terminal block.
  8. The RS-485 Com A port can be configured for either Sensor Bus or Modbus.
  9. Either the RS-485 Com A port (Sensor Bus) or RS-485 Com B port (Room Bus) can be reconfigured for Modbus.
  10. The KNX Modbus Gateway (RP-C-EXT-KNX) is not supported.
  11. Status LED.
  12. RP-V-5C-M with hardware version earlier than 05 has a FRAM memory with a size of 8 kB. For these hardware versions, the use of Script programs is recommended to save FRAM memory space.
