Adding a Centralized Licensing Demo License File to Device Administrator

You add a Centralized Licensing demo license file to Device Administrator so that you can assign demo licenses to EcoStruxure BMS servers.

Demo licenses are used for demonstration purposes, training, or when building a site.

There are two types of demo licenses:

  • Demo licenses for Centralized Licensing managed by Device Administrator.

  • Demo licenses managed by License Administrator.

Demo licenses are time limited.

Centralized Licensing Demo License Management

Centralized Licensing demo licenses are managed by Device Administrator.

License Administrator Demo License Management

License administrator is used to manage licenses for a number of editors and clients.

To add a Centralized Licensing demo license file to Device Administrator

  1. In Device Administrator, click Entitlements .

  2. In the Entitlements view, click Add Demo License .

  3. Browse to the demo license.

  4. Click Open .
