You can check the status of certificates.
The certificate state is displayed, and can be changed, in the Certificate State column in Device Administrator.
Certificates can have tree states, invalid, invalid but temporarily trusted, and valid.
An invalid certificate is indicated by the icon
When the certificate is invalid no communication between the Device Administrator and field server is allowed.
An invalid certificate that is temporarily trusted is indicated by the icon
When the invalid certificate is temporarily trusted communication between Device Administrator and the field server is allowed.
You can temporarily trust an invalid certificate to allow communication between Device Administrator and the field server.

The trusting of the certificate is only valid for the current user session. If you close Device Administrator and re-open it the certificate is not trusted anymore.
