Sending the Response Files to the Selected Field Server when Returning Licenses

You send the response files from License Activation Server (FNO) to the field server when you want to return licenses.

You gather, and download, the license information from the field servers. This information is used to identify the licenses that is to be reclaimed from the License Activation Server (FNO).

Return Licenses on Field Servers

You can return licenses from field servers.

To send the response files to the selected field server when returning licenses

  1. In Device Administrator, click Servers .

  2. Select Show Licenses .

  3. Select the field servers.

  4. Click Return .

  5. Click Send response files to the selected automation servers .

  6. Click OK .

  7. In the Response field, browse to the response file.

  8. In the Confirmation field, browse to the location where you want to save the confirmation files.

  9. Click OK .
