Initiating a Meter Replacement

You initiate a meter replacement when you want to replace the physical meter that is monitored by the meter object.

When you replace a physical meter, you need to make adjustment to the meter object that monitor the physical meter.

Meter replacement must be planned to avoid data loss.

Use this workflow to replace a meter. For more information, see Meter Replacement Workflow .

To initiate a meter replacement

Do one of the following:
- In WorkStation, right-click the meter object, point to Meter management then click Initiate meter replacement .
- In WebStation, right-click the meter object, then click Initiate meter replacement .
