Meter Object Unit
The unit in the meter object is used for calculated consumption, logging and maximum setting for meter roll over on the physical meter. To get correct values in the meter object, the monitored variable must have the same unit as the active energy unit in the physical meter.
The default unit in the meter object is kWh.
The unit of the meter object must be set when the meter object is configured.
The unit can be converted between the monitored variable and the meter object, that is, the monitored value and the meter object can use different units. However, the unit on the physical meter and the monitored variable must be the same.
If you first set the unit on the monitored variable and save the configuration, and then after a while change the unit, a value with the wrong unit may have been logged. In this situation occur, reset the meter object to clear the log. For more information, see Resetting a Meter Object .
