Configuring the Acknowledgement Type of an Alarm
You configure the properties of an alarm to meet the unique needs of your site.
To configure the acknowledgement type of an alarm
In WorkStation, in the System Tree pane, select the alarm you want to configure.
In the properties pane, click the User Action tab.
Select the Aknowledgement type :
Click No when the alarm does not need to be acknowledged.
Click Single when the alarm needs to be acknowledged in the alarm state.
Click Extended when the alarm needs to be acknowledged in the alarm state and the reset state.
In the Changes have been made dialog box, click Yes to save the changes.
