Removing Attachments from Multiple Alarms

You remove all alarm attachments, for example, .pdf files or a trend logs that are no longer relevant for assisting you when diagnosing or solving the problem that caused an alarm.

You can add attachments to alarm objects, except System Information alarms. An attachment is a link pointing to an object in the system. When an alarm that has an attachment is triggered, a paperclip icon is displayed in the Alarms pane and Alarm Views. It is also possible to configure the attachment to display when the alarm is going from Normal to Alarm state.

附件还可以是：包含有关报警信息的语音消息、报告、趋势图、时间表、Microsoft Word 文件、PDF 文件、视频录制或弹出窗口。

To remove attachments from multiple alarms

  1. In WorkStation, in the list view, select the alarms from which you want to remove all alarm attachments.

  2. On the Actions menu, point to Advanced and then click Remove all attachments .

  3. In the Remove all Attachments dialog box, click Yes .

All alarm attachments are removed from the selected alarms.
