ALC, SLC, ELC and LC input functions

Day mode is intended to be changed a few times a day. When day mode has been enabled or disabled, you cannot immediately toggle it again.

UNEXPECTED DAY MODE STATUS

  • Wait at least one minute before you toggle day mode again after you have enabled or disabled it.

  • Verify that the panel has the correct day mode status.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or equipment damage.

Toggling day mode generates numerous event messages. Consequently the fire detection panel rejects any requests to toggle day mode for a minute after it has been changed. The aim is to avoid overloading communication lines in the fire detection system.

In the address table, double-click the cell in the Input function column to see a menu of the available input functions.
