Resetting a Consumption Monitor

You reset a consumption monitor, for example, after a testing. After the reset the consumption monitor restart calculations and logging.

Consumption monitors can be reset. This is typically done after you have tested a consumption monitor configuration or when you want to restart the calculation and logging in a consumption monitor.

When you reset the consumption monitor, the consumption monitor log is cleared and the calculated consumption is set to 0. The consumption monitor then restarts calculation and logging.

You can reset multiple consumption monitors at the same time using Search and mass editing.

To reset a consumption monitor

  • Do one of the following:

    • In WorkStation, right-click the consumption monitor, point to Consumption Monitor management then click Reset consumption value and clear trend log . In the Reset dialog, click Yes .

    • In WebStation, right-click the consumption monitor, then click Reset consumption value and clear trend log . In the Reset consumption object dialog, click Reset consumption object .
