Time settings
Setting the fire system time zone is supported in FDP fire detection panels with MCU FW version 24.5 and newer.
Fire detection panels in inter-panel networks individually synchronize the time with NTP servers/pools.
This means that time is not synchronized between panels in inter-panel networks. Panels require TCP/IP access to be able to reach the NTP servers/pools.
In Fire Expert, in the configuration, on the TIME SETTINGS tab, you can enter up to three NTP servers and/or NTP pools. These servers are used for clock synchronization.
You can also set the fire system time zone. You can enter a location, region, country or the offset from UTC time to filter the list of time zones.
If you have set a time zone for Fire Expert in system details, it is reflected here. You can define different time zones for Fire Expert and the fire system. If the time zones differ, a notice is displayed.
