EcoStruxure Building Operation uses a Sparql database, GraphDB from Ontotext, to handle semantic queries.
The EcoStruxure Building Operation software supports a database solution for external storage of semantic information.
You navigate to the semantic database to configure it, for example when you want to change the password for the administrator account.
Use the Semantic Settings dialog box to configure the communication between the EcoStruxure BMS server and the semantic database.
You upload ontologies on your system so that the correct ontologies are used on the semantic database.
You configure the semantic settings if you, for example, want to change the EBO user that connects to the semantic database or use a semantic database on another location than the default location.
Use this workflow to configure EcoStruxure Building Automation system to use semantics.
Semantic is based on ontologies.
You configure the Semantic permissions so that the users on the EBO server have permissions to use Semantic.
You can create a semantic repository for each tenant. You do this in a system with multi tenants where you do not want the tenants to share their semantic information.
