You can add attachments to alarm objects, except System Information alarms. An attachment is a link pointing to an object in the system. When an alarm that has an attachment is triggered, a paperclip icon is displayed in the Alarms pane and Alarm Views. It is also possible to configure the attachment to display when the alarm is going from Normal to Alarm state.
You duplicate an EcoStruxure BMS server from a backup set using Restore when you want to reuse configuration data from a backup set in a standalone SmartX server.
Use the Rename object dialog box to rename an object.
Reports can be viewed in WorkStation or a Web browser. To view reports, you need a WorkStation user account. You use your WorkStation user name and password when you log on to view reports in either WorkStation or a Web browser.
You view a default report when you want to see a report about an EcoStruxure Building Operation alarm, generic object, EcoStruxure BMS server, trend log, or user account.
You export a report to a PDF, Excel, or Word file when you want to create and save an electronic copy of your report.
When you have generated a report, you have a number of options for preserving the data contained in the report, for example you may want to print the report, or save it in a particular format such as a spreadsheet format.
A default report provides information about alarms, generic objects, EcoStruxure BMS servers, trend logs, and user accounts. The report is formatted according to a template that is assigned to an EcoStruxure Building Operation object type. You view default reports in WorkStation using the View...Report submenu. You cannot view default reports using a Web browser.
You view a prompted report to see a report based on filtering criteria that you enter.
