UL 864 Smoke Control Enclosure Mounting Hardware

You should ensure that you have the proper diameter mounting hardware and anchoring system before mounting the UL 864 Smoke Control enclosures.

Mounting hardware may vary depending on the surface in which the enclosures are anchored:

When anchoring directly to a support member, such as a stud, use diameter mounting hardware 0.25-inch (or M6 metric) screws
When achoring to concrete, brick, and mortar, use expansion anchors
When anchoring to thin walls (drywall or hollow wall), use toggle and threaded anchors

Check the hardware manufacturer's maximum recommended weight-bearing loads before choosing your mounting hardware.
