Diagnostic Files

You can use the Diagnostic Files function of the Commission mobile application to view and export diagnostic files from a BACnet/IP controller. For more information, see BACnet/IP Controller Diagnostics .

Diagnostic File

Description

Device Report

The device report allows you to extract diagnostic information from the BACnet/IP controller and troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently. This report is also accessible from the EcoStruxure BMS.

Error Log

The error log provides a list of current errors in the BACnet/IP controller that you can troubleshoot and correct.

Crash Report

The crash report shows the time of the crash, followed by coded information that is used by developers to interpret the crash event. Should it be necessary to seek help from Schneider Electric support, you may be requested to download this file and then email it to the support engineer, for use in the investigation.
