RP Controller Expansion Module Maintenance Modes
The RP controller expansion modules support different modes that can be used for maintenance purposes.
The following maintenance modes are supported:
Offline maintenance mode
Online maintenance mode
The Status LED on the RP controller expansion modules indicates when the device is in maintenance mode, provided that the LED is configured in show status mode (default mode). The device enters maintenance mode and goes offline when you configure the room bus address 0 for the device using its rotary switch.
In online maintenance mode, the device will be online but without running any software other than what makes it possible to read diagnostics from the device and to upgrade the device.
