Importing a PCT Project

You import a PCT project from your hard drive to use a beforehand saved project.

You import a PCT project from your hard drive to use a beforehand saved project. You export a PCT project to your hard drive to keep a copy of the project at your hard drive.

To import a PCT project
  1. In Project Configuration Tool , select the Project view.

  2. On the Header toolbar, select the Import project button

  3. In the Import Project window, select to the project file you want to import.

  4. Click Open .

  5. In the Import project dialog box, in the Project name box, type the name of your project.

    • Select Create as new to create a new project.

    • Select Replace '[project's name]' to override the previous version of this project.

    Note:

    When importing the project, a name conflict can be resolved in either creating a new project or replacing a previous version of the imported one. The project name is encoded in the file metadata.

    If you see the message "Project name already used", you need to type a new project name, which is different from each of the existing project names.
