You can use Windows Certificate Store to store certificates used for Enterprise Server and Enterprise Central authentication. In this case you do not use WorkStation for the storage functions. Instead you use Certmgr.exe, Windows Certificate Manager Tool.

However, WorkStation is still used for activating the certificates you want to use.

Certificates with Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC cipher / encryption) are supported when authorizing servers in EcoStruxure Building Operation.

Use this workflow to import and activate certificates in Windows Certificate Store.

Pour plus d'informations, voir Windows Certificate Store for Enterprise Server and Enterprise Central Workflow .

To import a certificate to Windows Certificate Store
  1. On the computer running Enterprise Server or Enterprise Central, open certlm.msc, Windows Certificate Manager Tool.

  2. Import the certificate in the Certificates folder in the Personal folder.

  3. Import the associated root certificate in the Certificates folder in the Trusted Root Certificate Authorities folder.

  4. Make sure that the private key for the certificate is marked as exportable.
