Configuring the Audibility of an Alarm
You configure an alarm to make a sound when it is triggered so that the operator can hear the alarm.
Important:
In order to grant the correct functioning of alarm sound in combination with acknowledgements, you need to make sure that the Media Feature Pack for your PC Operating System is correctly installed.
Note:
An alarm sound is only if the selected workspace contains the Alarm pane. For more information, see Workspace Components and Customization .
To configure the audibility of an alarm
In WorkStation, in the System Tree pane, select the alarm you want to configure.
Click the Presentation tab.
Select Audible alert to make the alarm sound when it is triggered.
Click the Save button
