A default report provides information about alarms, generic objects, SmartStruxure servers, trend logs, and user accounts. The report is formatted according to a template that is assigned to a Building Operation object type. You view default reports in WorkStation using the View...Report submenu. You cannot view default reports using a Web browser.

When you install WebReports, default report templates are assigned to the following Building Operation object types:

  • Alarm

  • Generic Object

  • SmartStruxure server

  • Trend log

  • User Account

To view a default report for a single object, you select the object and then the View...Report submenu in WorkStation. While in List View, you can select more than one object of the same type and generate a report for both objects. For example, suppose you want to see a default report about an Out of Range Alarm and an Inside Range Alarm. You can select both alarms in List View and then run View....Report. The default report generates output about both alarms in one report.

You assign templates to object types for the default reports using the Assign Default Reports menu option at the WebReports Web site.
