Running the Commission mobile application on a Windows laptop computer, you can connect directly to an Ethernet port on a networked BACnet/IP controller, or use an Ethernet switch to connect to a group of controllers.
You connect to the network and acquire an IP address so that you can communicate with the devices on that network. Most network connections used with the Commission mobile application assign an IP address to your mobile device using DHCP, which is a type of automatic addressing. However, certain Ethernet or WiFi networks may require you to use a static IP address. Consult with the network administrator to determine if a static IP address is required.
You log on to the Commission mobile application to perform commissioning, flow balance, and checkout operations on BACnet/IP controllers.
You connect to a device to begin all commissioning tasks.
Before you can do an I/O checkout on a DALI light, you must first perform a DALI discovery and associate the discovered physical lights with logical lights in the RP controller configuration. You then wink DALI lights in order to identify the light location when associating the physical light with the logical light output.
The Commission mobile application is a powerful and convenient tool for use with BACnet/IP Controller devices. However, as with any application, security considerations and appropriate actions must be taken to guard against unauthorized access.
The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter is plugged into a SpaceLogic Sensor to provide a wireless Bluetooth connection to the BACnet/IP controller (Sensor Bus compliant controller) for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the controller and the sensor.
You configure the MP-V controller setpoints to set up the parameters by which the controller is flow balanced. These setpoints include the maximum flow setpoint, selected by default, and the intermediate and minimum flow setpoints, which are optional.
