The Status LED on the front of the SmartX devices changes color and flashes to indicate the status of the device.
This section provides recommendations on wire sizes and lengths for the Central IO modules.
The override switches on Central IO modules with manufacturing date earlier than 2021-W26 must be disabled to remove the risk of an improper output. To disable the override switches, update the Central IO module firmware to version 2.017 or later.
The I/O modules have the following status indicator LEDs on the front of the module:
The SmartX AS-P server is the successor to Automation Server, and offers several improvements such as enhanced processor performance, increased memory size, dual Ethernet ports, and high-speed USB interfaces. Like the Automation Server, the SmartX AS-P server is a Schneider Electric manufactured embedded device that generally serves as the lowest tier EcoStruxure BMS server within the EcoStruxure BMS. The SmartX server controls and supervises equipment, typically HVAC equipment. SmartX AS-P servers use I/O modules with connected field devices, such as sensors and actuators, to do that.
The UI-8/AO-4 module combines 8 universal inputs and 4 analog outputs.
The UI-8/AO-4 and UI-8/AO-V-4 modules combine 8 universal inputs and 4 analog outputs.
For I/O modules with outputs, the following components on the front provide control of the output channels:
By adding a variety of I/O and power supply modules, you can use the SmartX AS-P server or Automation Server to tailor the Intelligent Building Management System to your unique requirements.
