Input Modules
Input modules support a single electrical type, such as digital or universal inputs. The available input modules include the following:

DI-16 Central IO Module
This Central IO module is a digital input, 16-channel I/O module. You can use the digital inputs for sensing of multiple dry contact digital inputs in applications such as equipment status monitoring or alarm point monitoring. As counter inputs, digital inputs are commonly used in energy metering applications.

UI-16 Central IO Module
This Central IO module is a universal input, 16-channel I/O module. You can use the universal inputs for any mix of temperature, pressure, flow, status points, and similar inputs. You can also make adjustments for various sensor types using the available pull-up resistors.

RTD-DI-16 Central IO Module
This Central IO module is a 16-channel I/O module that supports RTD, digital, and resistive inputs. You can use the RTD inputs for scientific and industrial applications where you need to measure the temperature of kilns, gas turbine exhaust, diesel engines, and other industrial processes as well as for measuring room temperatures.
