RTD-DI-16
The DI-16 I/O module provides 16 inputs dedicated to the Digital Input application. Each of the 16 channels includes a dedicated two-color (red and green) status LED that provides local monitoring of the contact inputs. The input setup editor allows the inputs to be configured to display either red or green for each input state.
Installation of the DI-16 uses the wire configuration shown in a previous diagram. For more information, see I/O Types for Modules and MP-X Controllers .
The 16 individual field circuits are connected to the 16 DI inputs as shown in the following terminal base diagram.
The UI-16 I/O Module provides 16 universal inputs. Each of the 16 UI input channels can be individually configured for the following:

Temperature Input (Thermistor)

The AO-8 and AO-8-H I/O modules both provide eight analog outputs. Each of the 8 analog outputs is provided as a Voltage Output (0-10V) on one terminal and a Current Output (0-20mA) on another terminal. The two output pins both change value together. Depending on the output format (voltage or current) needed for the installation, you terminate the field wiring to the VO or CO terminals for each of the 8 outputs.

The terminal base connections are shown in the following figure.
The eight outputs are identified with the center area numbers 1 to 8 and the voltage output terminals are labeled as VO, while the current output terminals are labeled with CO.
The -H model also provides Hand-Off-Auto manual override switches and adjustment potentiometers on the face of the I/O module. The switches and potentiometers are numbered 1 to 8 corresponding to the 8 analog outputs. Moving a switch from the Auto position to the Hand position causes the output to shift from the level set by the Automation Server or AS-P application program to the value set by the adjustment potentiometer on the face of the module. Turning the potentiometer clockwise will increase the output number (voltage and current) corresponding to the adjustment number. Turning the adjustment counter-clockwise will lower the output signal.
The override switches are monitored by the Smoke Control Server. The override switches associated with any output used in smoke control must be supervised and the Smoke Control Server must send a manual override fault to the FSCS where the condition must provide a visual indication and sound the audible horn. Outputs associated with smoke control must not be left in the override condition and must produce an FSCS fault indication.
The AO-8-V and AO-8-V-H I/O modules both provide eight analog outputs in Voltage Output form only. Each of the 8 voltage outputs provides a signal output of 0 to 10 volts on a separate terminal. The voltage output wiring is shown in a previous diagram. For more information, see I/O Types for Modules and MP-X Controllers .

The DO-FA-12 and DO-FA-12-H I/O modules both provide 12 digital outputs. Each digital output provides a relay contact output. The relay provides an SPST (single-pole single-throw) Form-A contact which delivers only two terminals (C and NO contacts). The terminal base provides the normally open relay contact labeled NO (Normally-Open) and the other contact output is labeled C (common).
Each of the 8 output channels provides a dedicated two-color (red and green) status LED for local monitoring of the relay state. With the output editor, the LEDs can be configured to display either red or green for the two relay states.
As seen in following figure, the relay outputs 1 to 6 are connected on terminal numbers 1 to 12 along the top of the terminal base.
Relay outputs 7 to 12 are connected on terminal numbers 13 to 24 along the bottom of the terminal base. All outputs are isolated contacts with no internal connections. The DO-FC-8 and DO-FC-8-H I/O modules both provide 8 digital outputs. Each digital output provides a set of relay contact outputs. Each relay provides an SPDT (single-pole double-throw) Form-C contact set which delivers three terminals (C, NC and NO contacts). The terminal base provides the contact set on three contiguous terminals labeled NC (Normally-Open contact), NO (Normally-Open contact) and C (Common) as seen on the following terminal base diagram.
Each of the 8 output channels provide a dedicated two-color (red and green) status LED for local monitoring of the relay output state. With the output editor, the LEDs can be configured to display either red or green for the two relay states.

The RTD-DI-16 I/O Module provides 16 input channels. In the setup editor, each of the channels can be individually configured for the following:
Digital Input (Status or Pulse Contact Switch)
RTD 2-Wire
RTD 3-Wire
Resistance 2-Wire (focused around 100 or 1000 ohms)
Resistance 3-Wire (focused around 100 or 1000 ohms)
Resistive Input (0 to 15000 ohms)

Each of the possible 16 channels provide a dedicated two-color (red and green) status LED that provides local monitoring of the contact or pulse inputs. The input setup editor allows the inputs to be configured to display either red or green for two input states for Digital Inputs (DI).
When configured for DI, 2-wire RTD or 2-wire resistance, the module provides the full 16 channels. When all inputs are configured for 3-wire (RTD or resistance), there are 8 channels.
When configured for 2-wire, the 16 field circuits are connected to the terminal base as shown in the following figure with the solid black lines and black numbers running from 1 to 16.
The first 8 inputs (1-8) are handled along the top of the terminal base on terminals numbered 1 to 12. The second 8 inputs (9 to 16) are handled along the bottom of the terminal base on terminals numbered 13 to 24.
When configured for 3-wire, the 8 field circuits are connected to the terminal base as shown with the dashed blue lines and blue numbers running from 1 to 8. The first 4 inputs (1-4) are handled along the top of the terminal base on terminals numbered 1 to 12. The second set of 4 inputs (5 to 8) are handled along the bottom of the terminal base on terminals numbered 13 to 24.
