This is typically done when expanding a license subscription.
Reclaim licenses on field servers
Device Administrator is used to reclaim licenses installed field servers.
Consider the following cases when reclaiming licenses on field servers.
Online
In the online case the computer that runs Device Administrator is connected to the Internet.

Online reclaim on a semi online system
A special case is semi online system where the field server is not connected to Internet, but Devices Administrator is connected to Internet. A semi online system is treated as an online system for licensing purposes.

Offline
In the offline case the computer that runs Device Administrator and the field servers are not connected to the Internet. Neither the Device Administrator nor the field servers can connect to License Activation Sever (FNO).
Use this workflow to reclaim licenses on field servers that are not connected to Internet and cannot access License Activation Server (FNO).
