You create a cause note to connect it to an alarm, and to simplify the reporting of the causes that triggered the alarm.
In WebStation, select an alarm object.
In the alarm dialog box, click User actions .
In the Cause notes properties, click the Edit button
Do one of the following:
Select the cause note group where you want to create the cause note and then click Add to add a cause note.
Click the Add button
Click Save .
Click OK .
