Builder View Overview
Builder View is a graphic binding and engineering tool, which allows users of EcoStruxure BMS to graphically view bindings on a canvas between canvas objects properties, and to monitor and follow data flows. Builder View displays objects that are located in the selected current folder structure, and also displays objects outside the current folder structure that are bound to objects within the current folder structure. The bound canvas objects have exposed property names that are displayed as binding ports.

Builder View is the visual configuring environment integrated into Workstation that allows users of EcoStruxure BMS to view bindings between canvas objects, and to monitor, and follow data flows.

Canvas Objects
In Builder View, the visual structure of canvas objects is designed to make the configuration of the objects seamless.
A canvas object can be a:
System object
Folder object
Folder object with system objects in the underlying folder structure
External source port
External target port
Current folder property
