Confirming a Meter Object Settings

You confirm a meter setting after you have corrected an unexpected value.

The meter object can take different status and modes.

Meter Status

The meter object can be in two states, OK or an error state.

Meter Mode

The meter object can be in the following modes:

Normal

The meter object works as expected. It logs and calculates consumption.

Meter Replacement

A meter replacement is initiated.

Unexpected Meter Values

When an unexpected value is detected, the meter object enters the mode Action needed and the status of the meter object is set to inform the user that something unexpected happened.

A meter object in Action needed mode pauses the calculations and does not update the meter values.

You start the meter object again with the command Confirm meter setting .

The command Confirm meter settings open a dialog where you can change the maximum settings and set the start value of the connected meter. For example, if the mode Action needed was caused by an unexpected meter replacement.

To confirm a meter settings

  • Do one of the following:

    • In WorkStation, right-click the meter object, point to Meter management , then click Confirm meter settings .

    • In WebStation, right-click the meter object, then click Confirm meter settings .
