Schedules provide a Save as option so you can use the scheduling criteria of one schedule to create another schedule. This is useful when you want to use the scheduling criteria of an existing schedule, but change the dashboard report that is scheduled to run.
For example, suppose you have a schedule called Alarms Report Schedule. The schedule runs an alarms dashboard report every other week on Monday and Friday. You also have another alarm report, Top 10 Alarms, that you want to run every other week on Monday and Friday. Instead of reentering the criteria, you select the Alarms Report Schedule. This populates the schedule settings with the criteria for Monday and Friday, every other week. Next, you select the Top 10 Alarms dashboard report to be scheduled for those days. Using Save as, you then name the schedule, Top 10 Alarms Schedule. You now have two schedules each of which runs a different dashboard report every other week on Monday and Friday.
