Subscribing to Topic and Community Content Updates

You subscribe to topic updates to receive E-mail notifications when a WebHelp topic is published or updated in a particular language. You subscribe to community content updates to receive E-mail notifications when community content is added to a topic or edited.

You can subscribe to and receive notifications by E-mail when the following WebHelp events occur:

  • A WebHelp topic is published or updated

  • Community content for a topic is added or edited

If you subscribe to topic updates, the subscription checks for changes that are made for a specific language. For example, if you subscribe to topics that are published in English, you do not receive E-mail notifications when Danish topics are updated. You receive a notification once a day. The E-mail contains links to all topics that have been published or updated during the day.

If you subscribe to all community content updates, you receive a notification once a day. The E-mail contains links to community content that other users have added or edited during the day. When you add or edit community content for a topic, WebHelp creates a thread to the community content and activates a subscription for updates for the thread. This subscription means that you directly receive E-mail notifications when other users add or edit information in the community content.

You need to log on to WebHelp to subscribe to the WebHelp events.

To subscribe to topic and community content updates

  1. Log on to WebHelp.

  2. Click User profile .

  3. Click Subscribe to update notifications .

  4. Select Subscribe to all topic updates in and then select the language you want to receive update notifications for.

  5. Select Subscribe to all community content updates .

  6. Click the Submit button
