You must configure a unique MS/TP address for the RP controllers that support MS/TP communications. You do so during installation by using position 1-7 on the address DIP switch.

You wire the screw terminals on an RS-485 Power Adapter to connect the adapter to an external 24 VDC power supply. Always use the recommended wires (or wires with larger cross-sectional area).
