Before upgrading the system, it is strongly recommended that you archive the historical data and back up the EcoStruxure BMS servers to preserve the current data and configurations.
Depending on your needs, you can install all EcoStruxure Building Operation products or a few products, such a single automation server with a connected WorkStation.
The EcoStruxure Building Operation software products are installed using installation packages.
Use this workflow to assign and activate licenses on automation servers that do not have any access to Internet.
You restart automations servers using Device Administrator when you want to restart a number of automation servers at the same time or when you do not have access to the automation servers from WorkStation.
Use the Contacting License Activation Server dialog box to check if any automation server is connected to internet and to skip this process if you know that you do not have any automation server that is connected to internet.
Use the Import Server Certificate dialog box to import a server certificate.
