The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter allows you to establish a Bluetooth connection to MP and RP controllers. You plug the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter into the corresponding SpaceLogic Sensor to connect to the controller. The adapter communicates with the BACnet/IP controller over the sensor bus using an RS-485 cable. For more information, see Connecting SpaceLogic Sensor Devices to an MP Controller .
For more information, see Commission Mobile Application Overview .
You can use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to connect both RP and MP controllers. BLE provides you with the ability to commission BACnet/IP controllers before there is an IP network infrastructure configured and also improves on-site commissioning times and productivity. With the RP controller, you connect using its onboard BLE or the BLE adapter and the SpaceLogic Sensor. In the MP controller, you connect using the Commission mobile application BLE adapter through the controller's sensor bus.
For more information, see RP Controller Onboard BLE .
The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter allows you to establish a Bluetooth connection to SpaceLogic and Easylogic Controller models. To connect to a device through the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter, you must wire a SpaceLogic Sensor to the controller.
For more information, see Connecting to a Controller with the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter .
You change the PIN of the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter for best security practices. The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter PIN is engineered to a default code of 333666 and should be changed to a secure code before you perform device commissioning.
For more information, see Changing the PIN of the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter .
You update the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter firmware to improve adapter performance.
For more information, see Updating the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter Firmware .
You perform a factory reset on the SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter to erase the current PIN.
For more information, see Performing a Factory Reset on the Bluetooth Adapter .
The SpaceLogic Bluetooth Adapter LED light displays different sequences to indicate the various functionality.
