To connect to a single BACnet/IP controller by wire
  1. Configure the network connections on the Commission mobile application computer and the BACnet/IP controller for DHCP addressing.

For more information, see Configuring BACnet/IP Device Settings .

  2. Connect an Ethernet cable between the Commission mobile application computer and Port 1 of the BACnet/IP controller. If you are using an Ethernet switch, connect the computer and the controller to the switch, using Ethernet cables.

    Important:

Because an actual DHCP server is not used, both the Commission mobile application computer and the BACnet/IP controller will self-assign link-local IP addresses.

  3. In the Commission mobile application, on the Select Connection view, select the WiFi icon
