You configure the semantic settings if you, for example, want to change the EBO user that connects to the semantic database or use a semantic database on another location than the default location.
In WorkStation, in the System Tree pane, select the EBO server.
Click the Control Panel tab.
Under Semantics , click Settings .
Configure the settings.

Semantic DB URL |
Enter the address to the semantic database. After you have entered a new database address, you must upload ontologies and restart WorkStation. For more information, see Uploading Ontologies . |
Repository |
Type the name to the repository on the semant ic databa se you want to use. |
Username |
Enter the username of the EBO user that you want to use to connect with the semantic database. |
Password |
Type the password of the EBO user that you want to use to connect to the semantic database.

Confirm password |
Confirm the password for the EBO user. |
Query Timeout |
Enter the timeout the EBO server uses for normal queries against the semantic database. |
Update Timeout |
Enter the timeout the EBO server uses for uploading ontologies to the semantic database. |
Search Timeout |
Enter the timeout the EBO server uses for search queries against the semantic database. |
Export Timeout |
Enter the timeout the EBO server uses for export queries against the semantic database. |
Insert Batch Size |
Enter the maximum batch size of files imported to the EBO server from the semantic database. |
Lead object |
The lead-shadow mechanism is automatically configured for the semantic database in all EBO servers in the system. You should not change this if you use the same semantic database for the whole EBO system.
