You can use the eCommission SmartX Controllers mobile application to commission a SmartX IP controller by downloading an application image, found in the WorkStation computer, that was previously exported from another controller.
In the eCommission application, in the Device List view, select the SmartX IP controller to which you want to download the application image.
The Device List view has filters that allow you to easily find and select the controller:
If you are logged in as a Flow Balancer, the device list is automatically filtered to show only MP-V controllers.
If you are logged in as a Technician or Electrician, you can sort the list of discovered devices by controller model.
Tap NEXT .
In the Device Settings view, tap the Menu button
Tap Download Image .
In the Download Image dialog box, in the list of images, select the application image file you want to download.
To more easily find an application image file in the Download Image dialog box, you can sort the image files by model number.
Tap Download .
When the File Status dialog box indicates that the download has completed successfully, tap OK .
If a field-deployed image contains settings designed to change the IP address or IP assignment following deployment, be sure to perform a software warm restart from the eCommision SmartX Controllers mobile application to activate these changes to the IP network settings. This commanded warm restart is in addition to the hardware restart triggered by the image deployment itself. If you fail to perform this additional warm restart, the SmartX IP controller will continue to communicate using its previous IP network settings.

The application image is successfully downloaded to the SmartX IP controller. You can now finish commissioning the controller.
